The first few nights (we run it at midnight on smart life app) it would get snagged. An ironing board draw string, a thick surge protector cord, a thin dvd power cord and a reusable freezer grocery bag. But each time I would remove that obstacle and now it's been running about 3 weeks without issues. When it gets stuck I'm sure it beeps but if you aren't around it will eventually turn off..that's how I found mine each time. It's run pattern is similar to a roomba or a shark, it will eventually figure out it's up against a wall or between chair legs.
